How to Promote the Poster

Hello all.
It's easy to become discouraged by the fact that so many men and prostate cancer groups appear to get lost in the politics of this disease. An apathy factor exists, it's true, which prevails on many levels. Let's try to think positive and do our part if we can.
We all can play some part in helping to put PCa awareness on the big map. Here is a suggestion for some of you "lurking" activists to follow up on:
I ordered and received 20 prostate cancer awareness stamp posters and then visited 3 post offices who gratefully will display them for us. I then visited our local library and they also will place the poster in a prominent location. Next I went to the local bank.... they love it too, and will place it on their glass entry door. Same thing happened when I stopped by several of our local medical group offices! It took me all of two hours of my time to distribute 10 of the posters.
You can see how attractive the poster is from the stamp on this page. The poster basically is an 18" x 24" blowup of the stamp.
Norman Cohen is responsible for producing the Prostate Cancer Stamp poster as well as many other stamp posters for the USPS. Because the post office is not currently purchasing these posters, he is willing to send them out to PCa support groups or PCa activists with the minimum order being 20 posters at $2 each. Cost for 20 posters including postage and handling is $46.50. You can order more if you like. Order only what you will really need.
Here is the address for purchase of posters:

They accept credit cards or checks.
Our local prostate cancer support group paid the cost of the posters. If you don't have success there... ask your oncologist or urologist if they will pick up this minimal cost.
Please pass this message along to all who may be willing to help if you can't participate. Thanks.
