Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer among American men. Nearly 185,000 new cases will be diagnosed this year. More than 39,000 men will die from the disease.
If prostate cancer is found early, it can often be treated successfully. According to the American Cancer Society, the best way to find prostate cancer is to have a PSA (prostate- specific antigen) blood test and a digital rectal exam (DRE).
