By: Charles (Chuck) Maack http://www.psa-rising.com/blog/2015/05/zytiga-crpc-psa-sidefx/#comment-3139 Mon, 25 May 2015 03:56:19 +0000 http://www.psa-rising.com/blog/?p=2646#comment-3139 Having eventually showing failure of usual ADT medications (Lupron, bicalutamide/Casodex, and dutasteride/Avodart after 14 years on/off (ADT/IAD) these medications, i have since been on abiraterone.Zytiga with continued Lupron and Avodart successfully for 44 months and counting. The "adverse effects" (AE's)in bringing on Zytiga were increased energy loss/fatigue, and my bladder and urinary sphincter muscles that were slightly weak requiring only a daily pad for protection, became totally weak resulting in total incontinence. Yet, given the effectiveness of this combination of medications, I accept the AEs vs the alternative.
