An Old Cough Medicine is Effective, in Mice, Against Prostate Cancer
Feb. 18, 2007 — Noscapine, a non-addictive derivative of opium synthesized more than a century ago, has been used worldwide since the 1950′s as an anti-cough medication. Noscapine was originally proposed as an anti-cancer agent in the early 1960′s.
